Day 23

Day 24

I woke up at 7 this morning, well, I didn't really wake up, I just rolled out of bed (I was never really asleep), showered, went down stairs and caught the National Express bus (8 pounds) to Heathrow. I just really wasn't in the mood to deal with rush hour tube traffic. It took about an hour to get to Heathrow, and almost an hour to get checked in, so leaving at 7 in the morning for my noon flight was smart. The entire flight, I sat next to a stinky guy with bad teeth and feral breath, it was so gross! Especially when he dozed off and kinda leaned over on me. At least the food and the 4 movies I watched were good? Arriving back home in the states, I had to go through customs. and about 4 hours at LAX before I could catch a 20 minute flight back to San Diego. After a full day of travelling, I finally arrived home, minus my luggage, not that I cared... My trip was over, Stacey was gone, and I started work on Monday. Real life sucks.

Epilogue:

Well, If you're reading this, then you've probably read through twenty-some odd days of me moaning and whining also. Congrats ;) You made it. This, was a trip, or rather, a Holiday of a Lifetime, and it was a pleasure to be able to share it with you. Not only was I able to see all those things that you keep hearing about all throughout school, but I also fell in Love. Not many can say that eh? :) I guess Emilee was right, you can't really go looking for it, Love just happens. It only took twenty one years, and me going halfway around the Earth before it happened to me :)

I started on this site a few days after I got back, and it took me over a month to complete. I would have finished a lot sooner, had I not kept procrastinating. But honestly, I was afraid that once I finished this story, it would truly signal the end to my European Experience. I guess I was holding onto everyone and all of my experiences through this site, but sadly, all good things must come to an end, but at least I'll always have photos and this site to remind me of everything. Believe it or not, this is the first website that I've engineered, pretty good eh? Heh, I guess you could say that it was a labor of Love, cause it's really helped me these past few weeks in coping with my Stacey withdrawals :P I guess I'll just have to find some other project now to fill the void left by Stace and Europe...

So it's been a month and a half since I last saw Stace... I'm sure you're all dying to know what's going on eh? I'm here in San Diego, working my ass off, at my 8-5 job, and Stace, she's in Oxford, bartending and travelling. We call and write each other weekly, and we both miss each other madly. We're going to make this work :) I can honestly say I've never wanted anything so much in my whole life, and not being able to see her is killing me. I miss everything about her, but distance makes the heart grow fonder :) December, that's when she comes back to Canada... no more 8 hour time difference, only a 3 hour one, and she's only a short plane ride away then... so we'll see what happens :) Until then, thanks for reading, and please oh please sign my guestbook! And upload your pictures if you're from my group :) And to my Lovely Stacey, the next time I get my hands on you, I'm never ever letting you go... I shouldn't have let you go in the first place =/

Special thanks to: Azza and Jacko, wouldn't have had such a spectacular trip without you guys, my entire European Experience group, I learned so much from you guys, some of which I hope I never hear about again, Stef for being such a great editor and always giving me good advice, but mostly, for putting up with all my bitching and moaning about missing Stace ;)

Can't wait till our reunion guys :) Bali next summer!
Until then... Touching Youuuuuuuu.... Touching Meeeeee....
